Key Stage 3 Transition have been working hard to manufacture products for their stall in hte Christmas Markets. Check out their video below which advertises the products they have made.
The Christmas Markets will be taking place in school on Friday 6th December from 10am to 11.30am.
What a great educational visit, the students did us proud and were very well behaved as usual. The trip was interactive and the students enjoyed exploring, dressing up in the costumes and joining in with the activities.
KS3T designed their clocks in their dt books and then used a vice to hold their wood so they could cut their shapes out.
KS3T enjoyed taking part in Africa Day. They all took part in different activities such as a talk with Julie about her trip to Ghana, food tasting, drumming and carrying a bucket filled with bean bags to represent water carrying.

KS3T went on a nature hunt in Science. They made a tally chart of things they saw. This was then transferred into a bar chart.
KS3T enjoyed a visit from Lancashire Fire Service. During the visit the students were pretending to ring for the fire service - this was a really useful exercise as some pupils weren’t aware of their address. One student tried on the full uniform. They thoroughly enjoyed the visit.
In Science KS3T made their own Kites and then took them outside to see if they will fly. We had lots of fun.
The students today have been enjoying the spring sunshine. Students have worked hard planting potatoes, transplanting peas (which have been nurtured in the greenhouse over the past few months) as well as painting the wooden shed ready for the new year ahead.
