Every week the whole school congregate for the Whole School Assembly. This helps us start the week in a collective discussion, preparing for the week ahead, reflecting on the successes of the previous week and helping others by sharing our knowledge.

The assembly follows a similar pattern of slides each week, the students are able to anticipate what we will discuss next and are encouraged to contribute. The assembly uses the school website and a familiar power point presentation to help organise these thoughts. We use sign-a-long to assist our understanding and communication and staff have communication aids such as i pads to hand to support individuals.

A flavour of these assemblies can be experienced by browsing the power points uploaded.

Each department hosts it's own assembly at the end of each week to discuss matters that are most relevant to their classes.

Our assemblies give us an opportunity to celebrate success and demonstrate how we embody our school values in everyday learning.
