On Thursday KS3A LOVED their PE lesson with Mrs McMaster.
This term the students are learning basic football skills and how to play a football game.
They started their PE lesson by playing a Pirate Ship game to warm up. The students listened carefully to the instructions and had good fun playing.
To start their football skills they all sat in a circle and passed the ball to a friend; using their hands to push it to them. Once the students were able to do this a second ball was added into the circle! The students then used their feet to kick the ball to a friend in the circle instead of their hands.
After this they all took part in a game of football with a giant inflatable football! They were split into two teams and worked with their teammates to try to kick the ball to the wall and score a goal. The students cheered each other on and all showed their joy and excitement with big smiles!
