KS5W Immersive room
Students from KS5W enjoyed their time in our immersive room, they explored a few different interactive programs such as fireworks and wall graffiti. Our students enjoyed their time in the immersive room which helps them to relax.
KS5W Sensory Circuit
Students from KS5W have chosen sensory circuits to complete to help them to recognise ways that can help them within the classroom. Students chose their own individual circuit and then carried out those activities with a member of staff.
Preston College Theatre

KS5W May Maths
KS5W revised ordering numbers to 20 and added 2 numbers together using counters. They then used an online game to consolidate knowledge.
KS5W Shopping for enterprise.
KS5W went shopping for provisions to make breakfast baps tomorrow to sell to staff. Students used a list to help them remember what to buy. They worked as part of a team to find the items and put them in the trolley.
KS5W Gammon and Chips. Yummy!!!
Students loved cooking homemade chips and gammon again today. Afterwards they made a delicious fresh fruit salad. Students are all developing their ability to peel and chop. Well done!! What a scrummy meal!
KS5W Listening Walk
KS5W really enjoyed going on a listening walk. Everybody loved hearing the birds in the trees sing and the sound of children playing nearby. Students followed the rules about road safety and listened to instructions.
KS5W gammon and chips
Students loved practicing their peeling and chopping skills again today. The menu was chips, oven roasted gammon followed by ice cream and fresh fruit salad. Everybody chopped, peeled and sliced and washed away all their dishes afterwards. Great teamwork.
KS5W Immersive room music
We loved exploring the keyboard in the immersive room today. We were able to change each wall to play a different instrument. What fun!!
KS5L at Up Holland
Last Thursday, KS5L performed at Up Holland High School.
We were performing as part of the Arts Festival “Kaleidoscope”, in front of a huge audience.

KS5W Breakfast Barms
KS5W continued with their Business Enterprise learning and opened up another breakfast cafe for staff. They cooked sausage and bacon and buttered bread rolls ready to serve to staff. Students are really enjoying running this small business. Watch out for out next pop-up cafe in the hall.
KS5H Wellbeing Day
While learning about wellbeing, KS5H designed their own wellbeing day. Students voted for their chosen activities and recognised how important it was to be able to eat well, exercise and relax.
