Key Stage 2 to Key Stage 3 Transition Support
Welcome to our support page for students transitioning from Key Stage 2 to Key Stage 3 in September 2020.
Under normal circumstances, students would get to experience life in our school by having transition days where they visit the school and spend some time in their new class. At the present time, this isn't possible.
We understand the difficulty this is causing for our new students and for their parents. We have put together this page so that you can share the information with your child. It contains video tours of Key Stage 3 and its classrooms along with some information about the staff in your child's new class.
We know that this can never replace visiting the school, but we do hope it helps to reduce some of the anxieties your child might be having. Hopefully it may get them feeling excited about coming to their new school!
If you have any questions at all, we are here to help. You can get in touch using the information on our contact us page.

School Leavers Transition Support
Welcome to our support page for students leaving West Lancs in July 2020. Under normal circumstances, students would get to experience taster sessions and transition days where they visit their new provision. At the present time, this may not be possible.
We understand the difficulty this is causing for our students and for their parents. We have put together this page so that you can access some relevant links and details of provisons your son / daughter may be transitioning to. You can then share this information with your them and seek support from both school and the new provision, to help with the transition. Where possible, we have included some photo galleries of the new provisions.
We understand that this can never replace real transition visits, but we do hope it helps to reduce some of the anxieties your son / daughter might be having. As always, if you have any questions at all, we are here to help. You can contact us using the information on our contact us page.
