Students from KS5L enjoyed listening to the story of “The Making of Milton” for their guided reading lesson. Students were told the story of a boy who lost his courage and how he was given a magic jar to help him become himself again. Following on from the story students were asked what things would they find in their jars to help them be brave. The students enjoyed telling their teachers about what they think make them brave from dancing to football and family to friends. They added their recipe to the jar and coloured it in to be added to their beautiful display wall.
