Students from KS3C and KS3W enjoyed being out on the bikes and on the Muga. Most children enjoyed on having a go on every bike that was available. 
 

KS3C enjoyed learning about how to play basketball for their PE lesson and also the importance of having to warm up before play. All students enjoyed being involved and using their teamwork and problem solving skills to be able to score points.

KS3C have taken part in a panathlon at banks hub centre competing against other high schools from the area. All students had a wonderful time taking part in circuit activities and competing for points to win medals. A good day was had by all and KS3C represented west Lancashire community high…

Students from KS3C have enjoyed their music lesson by creating sounds of winter with various musical instruments by listening to Vivaldi 4 seasons winter to become inspired and created their own winter scenes by drawing images. 
 

Students from KS3 have been learning about direction. Students have used B-Bots to program directions in and predict their landing positions on the map. Students had so much fun learning their left and right and learnt a way to tell their left from their right using their hands. 

Students from KS3C and KS3W enjoyed a visit from Jam the dinosaur. Our students learnt facts about dinosaurs like what they eat, how they move and what noises they made. Some students got up and fed Jam and even played tricks on him. It was a brilliant day for all students and staff.

Students from KS3C have been busy getting ready for our Christmas market. They have been designing and painting items ready to sell. 
 

Students from KS3C have been learning about samba music and have made their own musical instruments from recycled materials. They each designed their own labels for their shakers before adding rice.

Students from KS3 had a lovely maths lessons using shape in different ways. Each student had the opportunity to make robots, construct shapes using lolly sticks and play dough and making sandwiches before using shape cutters to cut out their shapes before writing and evaluation. 
 

Students have been learning about different shapes. They have been learning their names, how many sides they have and vertices. They were able to complete worksheets to demonstrate their knowledge of the shapes.

students from KS3C had a brilliant PE lesson learning how to complete circuits. They all worked in small groups and completed each station with their partner. Students from KS3 had fun finding their answers to their maths problems using body boards to get from one end of the hall to the other. They worked as a team to find the answers and raced each other to get back to their teams.
