What a very cold first week we’ve had back and start to 2025! Students have experienced the change in the weather and learnt all about the different hazard's ice can cause. Students learnt how to use caution signs and how grit is used to help melt the ice and make the paths safer to walk on. We also watched newsround to see what was happening within the uk with the change in the weather.
In maths we learnt all about different varieties of clocks the analogue, digital and the different shapes and sizes. In CLL we started our new topic ‘the stick man’ and visited the school library to choose our own books to read. We have also done some great work on our phonics sounds.
What a wonderful first week of term.
