In KS4, our English topic this term is ‘Pets’. For our WOW day, we were very lucky to enjoy a day full of activities all about pets!

During the morning, we used laptops and iPads to do some research about our favourite animals and then we had to design and create an animal shelter for a competition. KS4W created a bug hotel named ‘Bugingham Palace’ and won the competition! 

Later on, we had a visit from Boo’s Zoo, and met lots of amazing animals. Students (and staff!) were all very brave. They all held meerkats, guinea pigs, a huge python, a skunk and a beautiful owl. Everyone had an amazing day! Students asked lots of questions and found out some amazing facts about all of the animals!
