KS3S 17.04.26

We welcomed a new student to 3S this term and have e joyed interacting and sharing experiences together.

This term marks the start of our “Animal Kingdom” week and this week we explored all things “safari”. Students enjoyed their new sensory story “Rumble in the Jungle” and have been exploring the sounds the animals make and the different sensory elements of the animals. We’ve also practiced the Makaton signs for each of the animals.

The students have also loved being taught by Miss Baxendell this week, our new Assistant Key Stage Lead. Miss Baxendell is doing lots of communication and Maths work with us and her lessons have been fun and engaging!

Next week’s animal focus is “under the sea”.
