KS4L enjoyed learning about Candlemas. KS4L learnt about French traditions and beliefs. Students followed a visual recipe to make Crepes to celebrate La Chandeleur, in a traditional French way.
KS5W Immersive room

KS5 Entry Level 2/3 Mathematics.
KS5 students learned about the different types of angles by being the angles and then they used metre rulers to make more angles. After an angle hunt they used their knowledge to complete some written tasks.
KS5W Shopping
KS5W went shopping to buy items for their Chinese New Year feast which they will cook next week. All students helped to plan their meal, found the ingredients, helped to scan the items and demonstrated excellent communication and problem solving skills.
3S Beacon visit
For their Learning Outside The Classroom lesson, 3S visited the Coppice Cafe and play area at Beacon County Park. After a bite to eat and drink, they had lots of fun in the play area.....a great time was had by all.

KS5S Music
KS5W have been exploring music from around the world, from Australia to India and many more and this lesson became a music and dance lesson which all of the students enjoyed and laughed all the way through it. Not only did the children enjoy it but even the staff got involved.
KS5W Lunch in Unit
KS5W were learning basic food skills for their lunch in unit, making noodles and southern fried chicken. Within the lesson the students were able to read and follow the instructions on the packets to create a tasty meal which they all enjoyed.
KS5S Baking
KS5 have been enjoying a story about Twinkle the unicorn, in the story it was Twinkle’s birthday. KS5S made their own fairy cakes to enjoy for her birthday. All the students took turns in learning cooking skills such as measuring, cracking and mixing.
