Miss Scott's Class Visit to Applecast Farm
Miss Scott's class visited Applecast Farm and met lots of different animals as part of our Farm to Fork theme. They all had a great time and finished with a visit to the cafe to practice their communication skills.
KS4 Horticulture
KS4 Horticulture groups have been working hard preparing the raised beds and planting vegetables seeds. Students have worked hard over the last few months nurturing the seedlings before planting out.
KS4 Art & Design
Students in KS4 Art & Design have been developing their designs into repeat patterns. Students have repeated their design and selected colours that work well together. Students will develop their work further by transferring their designs onto Lino ready for printing.
Mr Mullen's Maths Group (Money Work)
We have been working hard on understanding the values of our coins and combining them together to make a value. The students used Numicon to support their learning.
SafeTeens - Captured
As part of the Safe Teens Project, KS5 welcomed PC Vicky Malone who came into school to deliver an assembly workshop on being safe online. The session covered many aspects on how to keep safe online including sending and receiving inappropriate images and messages.
Immersive Room
KS4W enjoyed spending soon time in the immersive room this morning.
Key Stage 4 Bowling
Today a group of students from Key Stage Four enjoyed a fabulous morning ten pin bowling.
KS5W Science week
KS5W took part in science activities for Science week. They made seed bombs, used sensory bags and made cardboard models.
Happy Birthday
Happy 16th Birthday to Kai, who has picked a Sherlock Holmes thriller for his birthday book from school.
