Students from KS3 had a lovely maths lessons using shape in different ways. Each student had the opportunity to make robots, construct shapes using lolly sticks and play dough and making sandwiches before using shape cutters to cut out their shapes before writing and evaluation. 
 

Students have been learning about different shapes. They have been learning their names, how many sides they have and vertices. They were able to complete worksheets to demonstrate their knowledge of the shapes.

Students from KS3 had fun finding their answers to their maths problems using body boards to get from one end of the hall to the other. They worked as a team to find the answers and raced each other to get back to their teams.

KS3C have been playing games to help their team building and communication skills within their classroom. Students worked alongside each other and helping others to understand different games from chess, dominos, top trumps and jigsaws. 
 

Students from KS3C have had a wonderful science lesson learning about rocks and soil. Today they investigated soil and what it is made from. They learned the layers of soil and shared their findings with the group. Next week they are making their own from food!
