Students and staff for KS4C took part in creating their own Red Noses for a collection of Comedy faces. Even Mr Grant jumped in and created a Nose........though he didn't look any different.

Today KS5L +C helped planting new trees, bushes around school in horticulture. They worked very hard and worked well together as team. 

Studnets loved visit the park recently and even found the Gruffalo when exploring the woods.

This week in 3L we have enjoyed lots of different learning experiences.

Ethan enjoyed P.E this week, working with his friends playing Boccia.

Amelia has enjoyed taking part in animation activities and using Lego.

Joe has enjoyed Maths and learning about pictograms.

This week, Key Stage 5L have been busy rehearsing for our upcoming performance at Up Holland High School. 

We are performing a sing and sign to “3 Little birds”.

Practice is going well and we are delighted to represent our wonderful school to celebrate their Performing Arts…

Mrs Higgins class have enjoyed this weeks Thrive challenge ‘Teamwork’

Students enjoyed team building games and discussed how they felt during the games, thinking about areas of Skillsbuilder to develop.

KS5 C had a great day at Haigh Hall. They used teamwork skills to work to grand reach as high as possible. They communicated well with each other, helping and guiding one another. 

KS4W have been learning about Eid and how fireworks are used to celebrate the end of Ramadan. We used the Boomwhackers to play along to the song ‘Firework’ and watched some videos before choosing a song each to play along to.

This week KS5L enjoyed making homemade pizza’s and chocolate chip cookies In lunch in unit. The students really enjoyed making their own pizza dough, the skills they used were weighing, measuring and chopping.

Students from KS5C have been taking part in tuck shop intervention with counting and selling stock to fellow students at break time. This is helping the students to develop skills with communication and with numeracy.

KS5W have enjoyed working with our music therapist,  learning new songs and playing all different instruments. This is a lesson the students are so excited for every Friday and all have a turn at doing something new each week.

KS5W loved visiting the cafe recently. They looked after their own wallets, chose their drinks, paid for them using their money, kept hold of the receipts and used good communication skills when engaging with the person at the checkout. Well done!!
