KS3S had great fun using the bikes on Friday..... 

In the yard, students bike with glee,

Their laughter rings out, wild and free.

Round and round they go,

KS5W went shopping for provisions to make breakfast baps tomorrow to sell to staff. Students used a list to help them remember what to buy. They worked as part of a team to find the items and put them in the trolley. 

Students loved cooking homemade chips and gammon again today. Afterwards they made a delicious fresh fruit salad. Students are all developing their ability to peel and chop. Well done!! What a scrummy meal!

Students from KS3H had a great time on Wednesday, when they Trained like Astronauts.  They completed the obstacle course before blasting aliens with rockets.

In PE, students trained without fear,

Astronauts-to-be, with missions clear.

Their rockets took flight,

KS5L working hard completing their Asdan folders. Students were filing work that they have been completing and signing their books ready for moderation. This helped the students to develop listening and teamwork skills along with problem solving and aiming high.

KS5W really enjoyed going on a listening walk. Everybody loved hearing the birds in the trees sing and the sound of children playing nearby. Students followed the rules about road safety and listened to instructions.

KS5W took part today in a music therapy lesson. They all took turns playing different instruments and singing along to songs. All the students enjoyed their lesson and it will help with confidence building.

KS5S enjoyed an afternoon treat at Midstream cafe.  All the students were so well behaved and enjoyed the experience.  They all went to the counter to order and pay for their drink and snack.  The staff had a great time too!

KS5W have been playing games to help build on their communication and interaction with others. They used their speaking skills to communicate with each other and also practiced their turn taking skills. They showed support for each other when one of their classmates won a game. This demonstrates…
