KS5L Communication, Language and Literacy

KS5W Friday Dance
KS5W have loved being able to have a dance to start our Friday off. This helps the students to get ready for the day ahead and set a positive tone for the next lesson.

KS5W Shop

KS5 Sensory Club
Students have enjoyed talking part in sensory club at lunch time. They read stories and coloured in pictures, whilst some students chose to relax in our comfy area.
MOVE challenges
Pupils have been working hard on their individual exercise plans in our MOVE workshop to get us moving more with greater independence. We always have fun during the sessions and students and staff take what they have learnt back to class to practice their skills further.
KS4 Technology Club
All students in KS4 work hard through the week to earn Friday tech time using the school Technology. Some students want to dance, sing, chat or talk. This is something the students look forward to. Great fun is had by all and some great team work.
KS5L Tuck Shop intervention
This week students from KS5L have been taking part in counting tuck shop stock, the money and then serving this to fellow students at break time. This encourages money management, counting skills and communication skills. All students have really enjoyed taking part in this activity.
