Today a student from KS5W was practicing their fine motor skills and even did this independently for 5 minutes. He loved being able to complete the task before the timer had finished and he continued to do this activity multiple times as he said he enjoyed it so much.

For period 6 KS5W went to the immersive room for some guided meditation and relaxation after working hard all day. They explored London and then a forest with animals.

KS5C class made pasta bolognese and jam turnovers for their lunch in unit. They enjoyed making their meal from scratch with team members. They enjoyed rolling pastry and making their jam turnovers. The other group liked making the sauce for their pasta bolognese.

This week KS5W have baked cakes and made shortbread biscuits to give to our visitors for their coffee morning. We made Rudolph cakes using items which were donated to the school by one of our parents, fairy cakes and also our shortbreads which the students decorated with icing. 

On Wednesday KS5W made sausage, bacon, eggs and beans with toast for their lunch. They also enjoyed make chocolate rice crispy cakes for their pudding. All the students enjoyed taking part and most enjoyed making their very own scrambled eggs.
